DESCRIPTION:Join us for great music\, good food and brews\, and camaraderie while raising much-needed dollars for the horses. On Saturday\, September 14th\, we will be hosting our annual Benefit Concert\, with all proceeds benefiting the horses! This year's concert will be celebrating our 35 years of rescue. The concert will feature two acts who have continued to support DEFHR year after year: opening musician\, Patty Reese and Friends\, followed by the popular headliner\, The 19th Street Band. Our Hops For Horses beer garden will be flowing with wines & seasonal brews and this years food trucks are All Fired Up Brick Oven Pizza\, Glamourview Creamery and returning favorite\, AppleCore's Bake Shoppe. The farm will be open for tours showcasing our adoptable equines and a behind-the-scenes look at the work that we do as we highlight our founder's incredible achievements in equine welfare. Plus\, there will be plenty of lawn games and complimentary s'mores around the fire pits for all to enjoy.
