SUMMARY:Webinar: Navigating the Reopening of your Restaurant
DESCRIPTION:The COVID-19 pandemic has crippled our life and took away many things we used to take for granted - things as simple as meeting loved ones and friends for a nice dinner.\n\n\n\nNonetheless\, the best thing restaurant businesses can do now is to prepare. It is a lot easier to take it down a notch and get adjusted now than try to implement major operational change last minute.\n\n\n\nTo prepare you for the reopening\, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce invites experienced professionals from Virginia Restaurant\, Lodging & Travel Association to share their tips and advice for reopening in this still uncertain and changing health and economic crisis.\n\n\n\nWhat should we pay attention to in the restaurant's response to Covid-19? What lessons can we draw from the experience of the past and how we apply those in the reopening process? What works . and what doesn't?\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://asianamericanchamberva.chambermaster.com/eventregistration/register/3763\n\n\n\nSpeakers:\n\nCherylyn Harley Lebon\n\nCherylyn Harley LeBon is a Partner with Dunlap\, Bennett\, and Ludwig. Her practice areas cover business\, government contracting\, and nonprofits. Her clients benefit from Cherylyn's 20+ years of experience in Washington\, D.C.\, and abroad\, including time as a high-ranking official at the Small Business Administration\, the Department of Veteran Affairs\, and as an advisor to Members of Congress.\n\n\n\nGary Cohen\, Executive Vice President\, Glory Days Grill\n\nForty years in the restaurant industry\, starting his career in Marriott Dinner House restaurants as a Kitchen Manager\, Dining Room Manager\, and Bar Manager. Promoted to General Manager at 24 years old and to District Manager by Gilbert/Robinson when they acquired the group of restaurants in 1986. Gary served as Director of Operations and eventually Vice President of Operations for Vie de France Bakery Cafes from 1990 -2003\, and he served as President of That's Amore Restaurants from 2003-2006. In 2006\, he joined Glory Days Grill as Director of Development and has served as Executive Vice President since 2009 and runs the day to day operations of the company.\n\nCurrently serves on the following Volunteer Boards:\n\nWashington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP) Chairman\n\nVirginia Restaurant Lodging and Travel Association (VRLTA) Director of Gov't Affairs\n\nVRLTA Fairfax Chapter\, Immediate Past Chairman\n\nVisit Fairfax Executive Board
