SUMMARY:YPN Celerate Series - ''Social Media Do’s and Don'ts" - SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:As social media usage continues to expand across multiple age demographics and platforms. Not to mention\, the current political and social environment often has people on edge and at a moment's notice\, one seemingly small vent or comment can go viral leading to unintended consequences for the perpetrator. Recently\, we have seen men and women get terminated for Facebook\, Twitter\, and Instagram postings and commentary. These men and women have often commented that it was their free speech and non-company time. However\, employers are not taking kindly to negative criticism due to the behavior of employees and have ceased employment with those individuals.\n\n\n\nJoin the Howard County Chamber's YPN for much needed conversation around social media\, what is acceptable and unacceptable even when you are on your own time. \n\n\n\nPanel:\n\nZack Shariff - President\, Allan & Shariff\n\nVeronica Jackson - Attorney\, Miles & Stockbridge\n\nKelly Mitchell - President\, Impact HR\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Cancellation Policy\n\nCancellations must be received 48 hours before the event to receive a refund. Tickets available at the door as space is available and only with full payment upon arrival. If the Howard County Government Offices are closed to due inclement weather\, HCCC events will be cancelled and reschedule at a later date. Otherwise\, events will take place as scheduled.
