This week we will be hearing from the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce.

MD Chamber of Commerce: The Maryland Chamber is Maryland’s only statewide business advocacy organization. We are committed to working with our statewide alliance of partners on critical public policy issues. With a focus on economic development and grassroots advocacy, we impact policies that directly affect Maryland business. We are dedicated to making Maryland work better for all Marylanders.
 
MDOT: Maryland Department of Transportation are offering many benefits for our Chamber Members. During our program, MDOT will give an  overview of Commuter Choice Maryland Program offerings for businesses: free technical assistance, commuter benefits toolkits, commuter benefits webinars, business highlights overview for Best Practices with Commuter Benefits.
Overview of incentives & benefits such as the Maryland Commuter Tax Credit where Maryland employers may claim a tax credit for 50% of eligible costs of providing commuter benefits and Transportation Fringe benefits where up to $170 can be taken as a pre-tax deduction to pay for transit, vanpool, or parking.
