Howard County General Hospital’s Heroes in Health Care is a fundraiser honoring the heroic acts of hospital staff members, being held Saturday, June 13, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. in the Kossiakoff Center at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland. The fundraiser will honor Eric Aldrich, M.D., medical director of HCGH’s Stroke Center and stroke team, and include a presentation celebrating stroke survivors in Howard County and how they experienced life after stroke thanks to the efforts of hospital caregivers. The event will include dinner and dancing to the music of the Junkyard Saints, entertainment, chef-curated dinner stations, a live auction and raffles. Tickets cost $135, and all proceeds benefit HCGH and the Stroke Center. For more information and sponsorship opportunities, visit HCGH.org/heroes or call 410-720-8706.
