Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will continue the organization’s thought leadership speaker series with “The Art of Communicating in a Hybrid World” held virtually. The event will feature Cheryl Duvall, consulting practice area leader for design and architecture firm Gensler, author and speaker on change management, work-life integration and communication skills. Duvall graduated from Leadership Howard County’s Leadership Premier program in 2000. Duvall’s presentation will look at how the hybrid work model of the future will affect organizational culture and behavior. It will cover topics including the latest research about hybrid workplaces, tips for building highly functional teams in a hybrid workplace, inclusion and mentorship, mental health and employee well-being, virtual communication best practices and change strategies to address shifts in communication.
