Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management will hold a virtual event series “Career Conversations: Sustainability Management” featuring discussions with sustainability management leaders across industries. Patricia Kanashiro, Ph.D., associate professor of international business, will host the talks. Cecilia Cosa, director of international labor standards, Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Walt Disney Corp., will share her experiences navigating the rapidly growing sustainability management job market and answer participants’ questions about the field. Loyola launched the first Bachelor of Business Administration in sustainability management in Maryland last year that examines how corporations deliver value to people, planet and profit while creating and sustaining a competitive advantage. The interdisciplinary program prepares students to create sustainable solutions for businesses, the natural environment and society. The events are open to the public.
