The Howard County Chamber is excited to announce the return of the annual #HoCoYPN Conference for its third year! Created by the Howard County Chamber's Young Professional Network, this half-day event will help equip and advance young professionals and those looking to grow in their career, no matter what industry. This year's conference, held at the Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel on October 5, will center on this year's theme of "The Art of Communication." Attendees will be provided with tangible professional development takeaways, inspiring success stories, and invaluable networking opportunities.
The day will begin with an interactive opening panel [featuring Dr. Josh Funk (Rehab 2 Perform), Krysta Herring (COPT), and Ben Nichols (Harkins Builders)], where attendees will have the chance to participate in a public speaking exercise to win prizes! Two engaging workshops will follow, led by Ed DeJesus (Social Capital Builders) and Camille Mazelev (Maze Consulting), focused on how to build a social network and general business communication practices.
Attendees will then be able to continue to build on the connections they have established throughout the day with a networking mixer from 5:00-7:00pm, just a few buildings down at GrillMarx Steakhouse & Raw Bar.
