You are cordially invited to an Elegant Tea Experience at Historic Waverly Mansion, an early 19th century manor home and sole surviving property of the governors Howard: Maryland’s only father and son governors, John Eager Howard (Howard County’s namesake) and George Howard, respectively. This tea experience combines elevated service with a refined culinary offering, courtesy of Eleven Courses. Your taste buds will be tempted with a bottomless pot of tea from Maryland’s first tea farm located in Howard County, and a rotating seasonal menu of tea savories, jams, and delectable assortment of desserts. Guests will have the unique opportunity to purchase select teas following the event. After taking tea, we invite you on a self-guided stroll through the Mansion and around the formal gardens. Seating is communal and located outdoors under the event tent. This event will be held rain or shine. Doors will open at 11:30am and service will start promptly at 12pm. Seating is first-come, first-seated. We recommend arriving early for those looking to be seated together. Parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling.
