Leadership Howard County’s Staring Down the Storm

Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will hold its next general membership meeting “Staring Down the Storm: How to Build Resiliency and Stand Strong During Difficult Times.” Carolyn Cumpsty-Fowler, senior director for nursing well-being at Johns Hopkins Medicine, will share how to cultivate resiliency, what it means, what it looks like and how it can help participants face challenges. Cumpsty-Fowler has held different roles and faculty positions at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and School of Nursing. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Bloomberg School and a doctorate in neurosurgery and public health from the University of Cape Town.
