In partnership with the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, the goal of this information session is to assist both employers and employees in transitioning back to work as businesses reopen after being closed due to COVID-19.
The agenda is as follows:
- Returning back to work safely: Maryland Back to Business pledge and best practices.
- Importance of returning to work.
- Ramifications of not returning to work.
- Work Sharing program for gradually recalling employees to full-time work.
- Free recruitment assistance available to businesses to assist in filling vacancies.
- Local Businesses: Meet our team and get connected with your local area
- Job Seekers: Get connected with your local American Job Center!
- Grant funding available to employers for training (or re-training) current employees.
- Q&A session to address questions not addressed in the webinar!
