Deena is the founder and CEO of WorkStream Business Systems. She specializes in analyzing business workflow and providing optimization consulting. Deena also creates customized business systems to streamline and automate processes, optimize workflow and provide business leaders with the tools they need to efficiently and effectively run their business. Deena uses her business and programming expertise to create and deploy the foundations of strong business systems. Her expertise is in workflow development, intuitive software, data analysis, business intelligence and MS Access and SQL Server.

Mr. Phillips has more than 40 years of professional experience in the consulting engineering business. He currently serves as the Market Manager of KCI’s Site & Facilities Division which employs more than 200 people in fifteen offices across 10 states. He is also active in the community serving on multiple boards including currently serving as the Chair of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.

Chuck is a serial entrepreneur who is currently the Executive Director of the Maryland Innovation Center. He launched his first tech business at 25 and then spent a decade at Apple in the early 80’s, where he helped launch the original Macintosh. He also has launched several successful startups, including a stock trading system acquired by Reuters and a legal document management system acquired in 2009. He recently sold his 25-year old technology services firm, Ease Technologies. Chuck currently serves on the Downtown Columbia Partnership board as well as on the Maryland Business Incubator Association board and is active in the regional startup community.
Event Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received 48 hours before the event to receive a refund. Tickets available at the door as space is available and only with full payment upon arrival. If the Howard County Government Offices are closed to due inclement weather, HCCC events will be cancelled and reschedule at a later date. Otherwise, events will take place as scheduled.
