Dr. Marja Humphrey, Assistant Professor of Counseling, Bowie State University
As a counselor, Dr. Marja Humphrey she has spent time working in both universities and agency settings. Her current work with clients focuses on career concerns and interpersonal relationships. She is a regular presenter on the topics of leadership, diversity, and cultural competence. In the past, Dr. Humphrey worked mainly with college students with disabilities and adults with depression, anxiety and substance use disorders. Dr. Humphrey mentors women and young professionals to help them grow personally and in their marriages. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, music, baking and cooking, reading, volunteering, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
With over 15 years of experience in creative communications industries, Jon has rubbed shoulders with some of the top designers, marketers, and creative gurus across multiple continents. Between his YouTube videos, workshops, and coaching sessions, Jon has inspired over 1 million young professionals across the world, giving motivational and practical guidance on identifying, clarifying, and pursuing their dreams in creative industries, entrepreneurship, and business.
Jason Abell, President & Rewire Coach, Rewire
Jason Abell is a speaker, author and business coach at Rewire, a coaching company he helped start in 2014. Rewire's clients include cool companies like Under Armour, Nike, Chick-fil-A, and Wells Fargo. Jason wrote the first edition of Start Now while still in college, and currently, he is a regular podcast guest, still writes a bunch, and eats more salads than he used to. He is passionate about helping others which led him and his wife Amy to found Sadie's Gift, a non-profit that has raised almost a million bucks for the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. And this passion is behind The Buck-A-Book Movement, which will donate $1 for every copy of Start
Now purchased to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Jason lives in Baltimore with his wife and two kids, thinks people are cool, laughs at himself a lot, and loves family and the outdoors.
