Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a passion for holistic health. As a Massage Therapist at our integrative wellness center, you will work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide therapeutic treatments that support the overall well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and other therapeutic modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care and home exercises.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the wellness center to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Stay informed about new techniques, trends, and developments in the field of massage therapy and holistic health.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance skills.
- Uphold the center’s standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic principles.
- Ability to create a personalized treatment plan based on patient needs and goals.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
