Ally Ramsey Photography was one of 15 photographers worldwide to earn the distinction of CBP Certified Boutique Photographer® 

[Springfield, IL]  –The Photography Business Institute® announced today that Ally Ramsey Photography has earned the designation of  CBP Certified Boutique Photographer. The Photography Business Institute® is the certifying body and world-recognized leader of photography business education for professional boutique portrait photographers.

“These 15 photographer graduates join over 40 photographers from around the world who have earned the Certified Boutique Photographer designation and are among the top photography business owners in the country,” said Sarah Petty, President of the Photography Business Institute. “They have undergone rigorous testing of their business practices, client experience, and marketing materials and practices, as well as a thorough evaluation of their photography skills. This designation takes years of practice, experience, and skill-building to achieve. When a consumer evaluates photographers, they can trust that a CBP Certified Boutique Photographer will provide a superior level of professionalism and experience to other portrait photographers.” 

Over 180 students are currently enrolled in the CBP Certified Boutique Photographer program. Students must pass a combination of in-person and online education requirements. 

Ally Ramsey was honored at a graduation ceremony on 16 September 2025 in Springfield, Illinois at the Hoogland Center for the Arts.
